Unflavored Gelatin | 1 Envelope |
Water | |
Half and Half | 1 cup |
Heavy Cream | ½ cup |
Vanilla Extract | 1 tsp |
Lemon peel | ½ tsp |
Granulated Sugar | 2 Tbsp |
Place the water and the gelatin in a small bowl, set aside.
Add the heavy cream, half and half, lemon zest and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer over low- medium heat.
Turn the heat off and add the gelatin mixture, whisk til the gelatin melts.
Strain this mixture and add the vanilla extract.
Divide the mixture between 6 small ramekins.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
